Logic Studio Recording External Instruments

Hello, I've made this video tutorial on how to record your hardware instruments in Logic Pro 8, especially instruments that can send and receive MIDI messages.

In this case we are using the Novation K-Station synthesizer to record the intro of Peter Schilling's "Major Tom".

The tutorial also covers how to convert your external instrument MIDI regions into audio.

  1. thank you so much for a leg up ~now could you show me how to use my prokeys 88 (hammer action) stage piano with pro logic instruments and samples as a controller ~i'm not interested in using the prokeys internal sounds ~although they're good for gigs~i'm new to pro logic8 and find the manuals daunting ~i can be reached directly at< boxofteeth@yahoo.com>thanks again frank martin
