Nudging in Logic Pro, nudge tools.

Buzz It Share
When editing regions, audio or MIDI in Logic Pro the 'nudge' function comes quite in handy.
Not a lot of people know where the nudge buttons are in Logic Pro so here's one video demo for them.

Here I'm using the "nudge value", "nudge left" and "nudge right" buttons.

Effects swap, copy and paste in Logic Pro.

Buzz It Share
One of my favorite features in Logic Pro is the ability to move, swap, copy and paste effects right on the mixer. This feature has been present since Logic Pro 7.1 (correct me if I'm wrong).

Copying is very useful for when you need different instances of the same effect in different tracks all with the same parameters.

Swapping is also useful when you decide to route the audio from a track to a bus and you want this bus to have say - the same distortion effect or the same reverb that the track or tracks originally had.

Just use the hand tool, drag and drop... done!

Logic Studio's vintage instruments

Buzz It Share
Hello, I've created this demonstration of the great virtual vintage instruments Logic Studio boasts. Concretely the EVP88 Electric piano instrument, the EVB3 organ and the EVD6 which are emulations of the Fender Rhodes piano, the Hammond B3 and the Hohner Clavinet D6 respectively.

Using the Arpeggiator

Buzz It Share
Hello, I have created this screencast to help people who want to use the arpeggiator object in Logic Pro. If you see it's not as hard as some people say.
Thank you for watching.

Those Yummy Logic Icons

Buzz It Share
You might already know but Logic lets you incorporate excellent looking icons in the arrange area of your tracks. This might be too much eye candy to some, but to other sensitive artists the more things are "iconic" the more inspiration they draw from their virtual workspace.

Some people are more visually oriented and would like to have icons that match their gear, if they have a Rhodes piano track they would like to see a Rhodes piano image in it and so on.

One of my favorite sites to get my icons is Logic Pro Files, with a robust community it not only serves those delicious icons but also applications, environments, templates and samples for the ESX24 sampler.

Logic Studio Bösendorfer Piano

Buzz It Share
I made this screencast to illustrate one preset within Logic Studio.
Before committing myself to LS I was wondering if it would have the instruments I like to compose with, one of my main instruments is the piano.

Apple Logic Studio set of acoustic and electric pianos have never disappointed me.
In here I describe the use or implementation of the Bösendorfer Piano preset.
